TEHRAN The head of the Mostazafan and Janbazan Foundation said here yesterday in a meeting with reporters, "Journalism is a sweet job, but at the same time a difficult profession requiring both art and science." Mohammad Forouzandeh condoled the martyrdom anniversary of Mahmoud Saremi, an IRNA correspondent in Afghanistan. He said journalism appears to be a sweet job at first glance, but requires perseverance and effort.
Praising reporters on the occasion of "Reporters' Day", Forouzandeh said reporters and journalists played a very important role in various periods such as Islamic Revolution and the Iraqi-imposed war. He also underscored the role of the press in today's political and domestic issues.
